The Baltimore Orioles have finalized a one-year, $10 million deal with reliever Andrew Kittredge, as confirmed by an anonymous source. The contract includes a $9 million salary for the current season and a team option worth $9 million for 2026, alongside a $1 million buyout.
Kittredge, 34, had a solid performance last season with the St. Louis Cardinals, achieving a 5-5 record and a 2.80 ERA in 70 2/3 innings. He previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays and boasts a career record of 23-12 with a 3.44 ERA across 240 relief appearances.
With closer Félix Bautista returning from Tommy John surgery, Kittredge is expected to enhance Baltimore's bullpen, which has lacked consistency. The team also previously signed Craig Kimbrel, who ultimately was let go due to performance issues.
