The Chicago Cubs have made roster adjustments, recalling pitchers Daniel Palencia and Keegan Thompson from Triple-A Iowa. In a corresponding move, Julian Merryweather has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to knee tendinitis.

Jack Neely has also been optioned back to Triple-A after a brief stint in the majors. The Cubs are gearing up for their next matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
