Crow-Armstrong hit multiple home runs, stole bases, and had a strong game. Morel contributed with his 18th homer. Chicago recorded back-to-back home runs in the fifth and eighth innings. Jameson Taillon pitched for Cubs, while Miles Mikolas started for the Cardinals.
Brendan Donovan shined for St. Louis with three hits and Luke Little is sidelined for the Cubs due to a shoulder injury. Michael Siani missed the game for the Cardinals due to an elbow injury. Cubs carry on to host Arizona, while Cardinals visit Atlanta in their upcoming series.
