The White Sox and Cubs made a swap of minor league pitchers. The Sox acquired Bailey Horn and the Cubs signed Cody Bellinger to an $80 million deal. Jesse Scholtens will undergo Tommy John surgery.

Horn climbed to Triple-A last season and added to the 40-man roster by the Cubs. He has a 4.21 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 45 relief appearances. Thompson has a 5.09 ERA in the Sox system and Scholtens had a 5.29 ERA.
