Chris Sale of the Atlanta Braves has been awarded the 2024 National League Cy Young Award after an impressive season, pitching 177 2/3 innings with a 2.38 ERA and leading the league in strikeouts and wins.
Despite a challenging previous season with the Boston Red Sox, Sale's comeback story culminated in him also winning the NL Triple Crown. His success marks the first Cy Young win for a Braves pitcher since Tom Glavine in 1998.
