Emilio Pagán has opted to exercise his $8 million option for 2025 with the Cincinnati Reds, choosing to remain with the team instead of entering free agency.
In the previous season, Pagán recorded a 4-5 record with a 4.50 ERA over 37 appearances, including one start. He faced injury setbacks but managed to strike out 44 batters in 38 innings.
Additionally, catcher Austin Wynns has decided to become a free agent after rejecting an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville.
