Jakob Junis, 32, reached a deal with Milwaukee that included a $4 million salary for 2024 and an $8 million mutual option with a $3 million buyout. Acquired by the Reds on July 30, he posted a strong 2.69 ERA in six starts and 18 relief appearances, finishing the season with a 4-0 record. After making his first appearance on April 2, he was sidelined until June 22 due to a right shoulder impingement. Over his eight-season career, Junis has a 42-45 record with a 4.48 ERA.
