Ty France and Nick Martini have opted for free agency after rejecting outright assignments to Triple-A Louisville from the Cincinnati Reds. France, who was acquired from Seattle, had a batting average of .251 with five home runs and 20 RBIs in 52 games.
Martini posted a .212 average with five homers and 24 RBIs in the same number of games. Meanwhile, Tejay Antone accepted an assignment to Louisville after undergoing his third elbow surgery. The Reds also claimed Christian Roa off waivers from Miami.
