Welcome back to my Week 16 edition of the Fantasy Baseball Breakout Hitters series for the 2024 MLB season. We're going to take our usual look around the league as we head into the weekend to see who is showing signs of some meaningful trends. We'll check in on players with the longest hit streaks, highest batting average, and highest ISO over the last seven days, as well as some regression candidates and more.

Hit Streak Leaders (data through 7/3): Jackson Chourio (9) is currently on a nine-game hit streak, hitting .314 in June and .429 in July with four home runs.
Highest Batting Average Last Seven Days: Yordan Alvarez (.500) and Christian Walker (.458) are among those with high batting averages in the past week.
Highest ISO Last Seven Days: Ian Happ (.714) and Brenton Doyle (.625) have been hitting for extra bases recently.
