Anthony Rizzo has returned to the New York Yankees' roster for the AL Championship Series against Cleveland, just two weeks post-injury from a hit-by-pitch incident. The first baseman, a three-time All-Star, had a challenging season but showed promise upon his return.

Alongside Rizzo, the Yankees added pitcher Marcus Stroman, while dropping Ben Rice and Duke Ellis. Cleveland also made roster adjustments, bringing in Pedro Avila and releasing Angel Martínez.
