Yanquiel Fernandez showed off his power with a home run. Ryan McMahon had a scare with a lower back issue but stayed in the game.

Meanwhile, the Rockies beat the A's 5-1 with Peter Lambert tossing a scoreless outing. Michael Toglia and Jimmy Herron impressed at the plate. Prospect Aaron Schunk also had a solid performance.
