Michael Lorenzen of the Kansas City Royals will undergo an MRI after injuring his left hamstring during a game against the Cleveland Guardians.

Though initially hopeful for a mild injury, he is unlikely to pitch again in the next five days according to manager Matt Quatraro.

After Lorenzen's exit, the Royals' bullpen excelled, allowing no hits to the Guardians' lineup in the game.
