The Atlanta Braves have signed relief pitcher Enoli Paredes along with two position players, catcher Yohel Pozo and infielder Charles Leblanc, to minor league contracts.
Pozo, a Venezuelan catcher, has shown impressive offensive skills at Triple-A, notably slashing .324/.335/.538 last season. His performance comes at a time when the Braves are in need of a catcher following Travis d'Arnaud's departure to the Los Angeles Angels.
Leblanc, primarily a third baseman, has experience with the Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Angels but faces an uphill battle to secure a spot on the Braves roster during Spring Training.
