Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani is progressing well in his recovery from right elbow surgery. After rejoining the team following the birth of his first child, Ohtani participated in throwing activities at Wrigley Field. Though he went hitless in his recent game, manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Ohtani plans to have a light bullpen session soon, with a full session expected later this week. His pitching hasn’t resumed since August of last year, but Ohtani remains a formidable hitter, currently batting .277 with six home runs this season.

Meanwhile, Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell also threw on Tuesday and is recovering from shoulder inflammation. Tyler Glasnow, another key pitcher, is on track to start a game soon after dealing with leg cramps.
