Brusdar Graterol is expected to miss the first half of the 2025 MLB season after undergoing surgery to repair the labrum in his right shoulder. The 26-year-old reliever had a limited regular season, making only seven appearances due to shoulder and hamstring injuries, but returned to pitch in the postseason, where he had a strong performance in the World Series. Graterol had a standout 2023 season with a 1.20 ERA in 68 appearances, striking out 48 batters over 67 1/3 innings. He has one more season of arbitration eligibility before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
