McCutchen's three-run homer came in the fifth inning, marking the 10th time he has achieved this milestone in his career. The Pirates have now won three consecutive games, with strong performances from players such as Isaiah Kiner-Falefa and Bryan Reynolds.

The Marlins, however, continue to struggle as they risk finishing the season with 100 losses.
