The Milwaukee Brewers activated outfielder Christian Yelich from the 10-day injured list due to a low back strain. He returned to the starting lineup as the DH against the Kansas City Royals. In a corresponding move, Tyler Black was optioned to Triple-A Nashville.

Yelich has been productive this season with five home runs, 11 RBIs, a batting average of .333, and an on-base percentage of .422.
