The Colorado Rockies have signed infielder Kyle Farmer to a one-year contract following the non-tendering of Brendan Rodgers, who is now a free agent. Farmer, who played for the Minnesota Twins last season, has a career batting average of .250 over eight years, including time with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds.
Rodgers, a former third overall pick in the 2015 draft, had a .266 average in his six seasons with the Rockies and won a Gold Glove in 2022.
