Nestor Cortes gave up three home runs as the Yankees fell 9-1 to the Rays. Cortes ran into trouble early allowing multiple runs in the third inning. The Bronx Bombers only managed two hits in the first eight innings before late hitting in the ninth.
Taj Bradley shined for the Rays as he allowed only two walks to go along with one hit while striking out five on 99 pitches. Bradley retired the last 11 batters he faced in the game.
