The New York Yankees have made a significant move by acquiring reliever Devin Williams from the Milwaukee Brewers. In exchange, they are sending pitcher Nestor Cortes, infield prospect Caleb Durbin, and some cash to Milwaukee.

Williams, a two-time NL All-Star, had a solid season despite missing part of it due to injury, recording 14 saves in 22 appearances. His addition is expected to strengthen the Yankees' bullpen, especially alongside the returning Jonathan Loáisiga.
