The Oakland Athletics have placed outfielder Miguel Andujar on the 10-day injured list due to a core muscle injury, recalling infielder Nick Allen from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Andujar, who has been a key player in left field this season, has not played since Saturday. Daz Cameron is expected to take over in left field during his absence.
This marks Andujar's second time on the injured list this season following knee surgery. In his last 75 games, he's recorded a .285 batting average, four home runs, and 30 RBIs.
Meanwhile, Allen was previously on the opening day roster but struggled before his demotion. He performed well in Triple-A, boasting a .345 average along with several extra-base hits.
