The Tampa Bay Rays' Edwin Uceta has been suspended for three games due to his involvement in a brawl during a game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Manager Kevin Cash received a one-game suspension as well.

Uceta's struggles on the mound led to the heated exchange after he hit Nick Castellanos, resulting in his ejection from the game. Although the Rays are competing for a playoff spot, Uceta's absence will severely hinder their chances, as he has performed well this season with a 1.49 ERA.
