Chris Sale and Tarik Skubal have made history by winning the Cy Young Awards for their respective leagues. Sale, in his first season with the Atlanta Braves, achieved an impressive record of 18-3 with a 2.38 ERA and 225 strikeouts, earning him the National League Cy Young Award.

Skubal, pitching for the Detroit Tigers, also had an outstanding season, finishing 18-4 with a 2.39 ERA and 228 strikeouts, making him the unanimous winner of the American League Cy Young Award.
