The Toronto Blue Jays have secured left-handed pitcher Josh Walker on a one-year deal valued at $760,000. The 30-year-old previously played for the New York Mets, making 10 appearances in the 2024 season, and spent most of his time at Triple-A with Syracuse before being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Walker, who stands at six-foot-six and weighs 225 pounds, was drafted by the Mets in 2017 from the University of New Haven and made his MLB debut in 2023. The Blue Jays also designated right-hander Hagen Danner for assignment as part of the transaction.
