Brett Wisely hit a two-run homer with none out in the ninth inning to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Giants had a moment of silence for Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda before Matt Chapman's two-run homer put them ahead. Logan Webb pitched well, striking out six over seven innings.
On the Dodgers side, Gavin Lux broke the scoreless tie with an RBI double, but they had their four-game winning streak snapped. Matos homered for the Giants, saving a run with a hard line drive stop. The rivalry continues with the Dodgers having won 11 of 14 against the Giants dating back to September.
