The Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland Athletics 8-4 with home runs from Julio Rodríguez and Mitch Garver. Luis Castillo pitched well. Rodríguez hit his second home run of the season.

Garver also contributed with a two-run homer. Seby Zavala added a solo shot. Castillo had a solid outing, allowing only two runs over six innings.
