The season has officially concluded for right-hander José Ureña, who has been pivotal yet underappreciated as he transitioned between the Texas Rangers' bullpen and starting rotation. Ureña has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to shoulder fatigue, rendering him unable to return for the remaining games of the season.
Despite struggles in prior seasons, Ureña found a resurgence this year with a significant workload, pitching 109 innings and notably excelling in relief with a 2.92 ERA. Gerson Garabito has been recalled to fill his roster spot.
