The Rangers are intrigued by the potential of these bats, following the New York Yankees' success in fitting them scientifically to enhance their hitters' performance. Other Rangers players have also ordered the torpedo models but have yet to receive them.

Manager Bruce Bochy endorsed the initiative, suggesting that trying new equipment could spark improvement. While Pederson's initial foray was less than stellar, the innovation behind the torpedo bat warrants attention, particularly given the Yankees' impressive start to the season using similar equipment.
