The Texas Rangers are set to have an opening on their 40-man roster as outfielder Sandro Fabian is moving to Japan, signing a three-year deal worth $5.8 million with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
Fabian, who made his MLB debut in September, had limited playtime with the Rangers, going hitless in five at-bats. He had previously spent six seasons with the San Francisco Giants organization before joining the Rangers.
