Sandro Fabian is set to join the Hiroshima Toyo Carp in Japan on a three-year deal worth $5.8 million after making his MLB debut with the Rangers in September. The 26-year-old outfielder had limited success in his brief stint with the Rangers, appearing in just three games and going hitless in five at-bats. Prior to his time in Texas, Fabian spent six seasons in the San Francisco organization, where he showcased his power potential, hitting 46 home runs over three seasons in the minors. He is currently playing in the Dominican Winter League, where he was tied for the league lead with five home runs. With Fabian's departure, the Rangers will have 38 players on their 40-man roster.
