Chad Green of the Toronto Blue Jays and Tyler O’Neill of the Boston Red Sox are finalists for the American League comeback player award, alongside Garrett Crochet of the Chicago White Sox. The winners will be announced before Game 2 of the World Series.

Green, returning from Tommy John surgery, excelled as a closer, while O’Neill, after a trade to the Red Sox, set a record with homers on five consecutive Opening Days and finished the season with 31 homers.
