Chad Green of the Toronto Blue Jays and Tyler O’Neill of the Boston Red Sox are finalists for the American League comeback player award, alongside Garrett Crochet of the Chicago White Sox. The winners will be announced before Game 2 of the World Series.

Green rebounded from Tommy John surgery, achieving 17 saves with a 3.21 ERA. O’Neill, after a trade to the Red Sox, set an MLB record with homers in five consecutive Opening Days and finished the season with 31 home runs.
