The Washington Nationals secured a 4-1 victory over the Miami Marlins on Friday, powered by a home run from Luis García Jr. and solid pitching from DJ Herz.
Miami's Otto Lopez also homered, but the Marlins struggled defensively, committing three errors that led to three unearned runs for the Nationals.
Herz earned his fourth win, while Kyle Finnegan notched his 37th save of the season.
