The Brooklyn Nets have made a significant roster change by waiving two-way wing Jaylen Martin and signing Tosan Evbuomwan to a two-way contract. Evbuomwan, who recently played with the San Diego Clippers in the G League, showcased impressive stats, averaging 19 points and 6.8 rebounds over 18 games. His journey in the NBA has seen him play for the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies, totaling 17 games this season.
Evbuomwan, a former Princeton standout, went undrafted in 2023 after a successful college career, including being named Player of the Year in his conference. Despite starting basketball later than most at age 14, he has developed a versatile skill set. His shooting, initially a concern, has improved, evidenced by his performance in the G League.
