The NBA's signing restriction deadline is approaching, allowing offseason signees to be traded. The Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors are both active in the trade market.
In a reported deal, the Nets are sending Dennis Schroder and a second-round pick to the Warriors for De'Anthony Melton and three second-round picks. Schroder has been performing well, averaging 18 points and six assists per game.
Melton's time with the Warriors was brief due to injury, but he is expected to return before the 2025-26 season.
