Brandon Miller, a second-year guard/wing for the Charlotte Hornets, has been sidelined due to a left glute strain sustained during the season opener against the Houston Rockets. Initially ruled out for just one game, his recovery timeline has been extended, and he will now miss multiple upcoming games, including matchups against the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat.
Miller, who had a promising rookie season, averaged 17.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 74 games last year. The Hornets will also be without Mark Williams and DaQuan Jeffries for the game against the Hawks, while Josh Green and rookie Tidjane Salaün are uncertain for their participation.
