This season, Kyrie Irving's shoe brand, ANTA, will be represented by three of his current and former NBA teammates. The Dallas Mavericks' Daniel Gafford, Cleveland Cavaliers' Caris LeVert, and Los Angeles Clippers' Derrick Jones Jr. will don the new ANTA KAI 1 "Team" model, which is designed to cater to the needs of streetball and AAU players. Retailing at $100, the shoe is available in four vibrant colorways.
Having played alongside Irving, Gafford and Jones Jr. were part of the Mavericks' journey to the NBA Finals last season. Meanwhile, LeVert's history with Irving dates back to their time together on the Brooklyn Nets in the 2019-20 season. Irving, who joined ANTA as Chief Creative Officer in July 2023, has since collaborated on various sneaker lines, including the ANTA Hélà apparel collection.
Despite currently being sidelined with a back injury, Irving has been averaging 24.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists through 30 starts this season with the Mavericks. The anticipation surrounding the shoe launch and the continued partnership with ANTA showcases Irving's influence both on and off the court.
