Jimmy Butler has been traded to the Golden State Warriors in a dramatic move that concludes a two-month saga for the star swingman. The Miami Heat received Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroeder, Kyle Anderson, and a protected first-round pick in the deal. Butler, 35, also signed a lucrative two-year extension worth $121 million with the Warriors. This trade comes after Butler's request for a move around Christmas, which the Heat finally honored.

So far this season, Butler has averaged 17 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists over 25 games. With this acquisition, the Warriors aim to strengthen their lineup around Stephen Curry as they currently sit tied for the final Play-In spot in the Western Conference with a record of 25-24.
