Stewart's suspension will keep him from participating in the Pistons' game against the Dallas Mavericks, coinciding with his scheduled bobblehead night.

The foul, which involved Stewart knocking Thomas Bryant to the floor, was classified as a flagrant-2, resulting in two additional foul points. Under the NBA's penalty system, accruing more than five points leads to a one-game suspension, with increasing penalties for further infractions. Stewart has also received a $50,000 fine for inappropriate gestures following his ejection.
