Bryce James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, has officially committed to play basketball at the University of Arizona. The announcement was made via his Instagram account, where he received heartfelt congratulations from his father, who expressed immense pride in his son’s achievement.
This marks a significant milestone as Bryce becomes the second of LeBron's sons to take the collegiate basketball route, following Bronny James, who previously played at USC. Bronny made headlines when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, allowing the historic opportunity for the first father-son duo to compete together in an NBA game.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and playing as a shooting guard, Bryce is recognized as a four-star prospect from Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California. His skills have also earned him an invitation to the USA Basketball under-17 national team training camp this past summer. With Bryce joining the team, Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd is bolstering his 2025 recruiting class, which already includes five-star player Dwayne Aristode.
