Former NBA star Dwyane Wade has voiced his concerns regarding the Los Angeles Lakers' current performance, suggesting that the team is not built for a championship run this season. With a record of 18-14, the Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, are currently positioned as the No. 7 seed in the competitive Western Conference.
On his podcast, "The Why With Dwyane Wade," he emphasized his desire to see LeBron play alongside his son, Bronny James, more often. Wade believes that focusing on developing Bronny, who was drafted by the Lakers and is currently playing with their G League affiliate, is more beneficial than pursuing a title this year.
