The New York Knicks are making roster changes ahead of their game against the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. They have waived rookie Boo Buie, who did not play in any games for the team.
In a related move, the Knicks signed Matt Ryan to a two-way contract. Ryan, who averaged 1.7 points in nine games this season, has previously played for several NBA teams including the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.
Currently, the Knicks hold the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a strong record of 19-10.
