The Minnesota Timberwolves are set to waive forward Keita Bates-Diop, who briefly played for the New York Knicks. Although he didn't participate in any games for either team, Bates-Diop's tenure is marked by his involvement in trades that brought Mikal Bridges to the Knicks and sent Karl-Anthony Towns to Minnesota.
Despite his departure, Minnesota retains a strong roster with former Knicks players Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle, and they will face the Knicks in December.
