Orlando Magic forward Moritz Wagner has been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee, sidelining him for the entire season. The injury occurred late in the first quarter during a recent game against the Miami Heat, leading to an MRI that confirmed the tear.
This setback is particularly challenging for the Magic, who are also without key players Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner due to oblique injuries. Banchero is nearing a return, while Franz is expected to be reevaluated in January.
Moritz Wagner had been a strong contributor off the bench, averaging nearly 13 points and nearly 5 rebounds per game, and was a contender for the Sixth Man of the Year award.
