Christian Koloko is seeking an NBA comeback and has agreed to a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, pending clearance from the Fitness-to-Play Panel after dealing with health issues, including career-threatening blood clots. Previously a second-round pick in 2022, Koloko played 58 games for the Raptors before being waived to facilitate a trade. Although he showed potential, particularly defensively, his health concerns led the Raptors to move on as he couldn't participate in practices or games until cleared. If approved, Koloko could provide much-needed frontcourt depth for the Lakers, a team currently facing injury challenges among their big men.
