Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley is sidelined for Monday’s game against the Golden State Warriors due to left hip soreness. Head coach Darko Rajakovic reported that Quickley’s hip issue “flared up” earlier that day, and further details will be provided after the evaluation scheduled for Tuesday.
Quickley’s absence is significant as he has only played nine games this season, having recently returned from a lengthy period out due to a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. The Raptors had hoped to rely on his contributions after he signed a lucrative five-year, US$175-million contract last July. During the current season, Quickley is posting averages of 16.2 points and 6.1 assists per game.
