In an Instagram video, Kessler expressed his pride, stating, "Congratulations Abbie! I am so proud of you and everything you stand for." Stockard, who previously held the title of Miss Alabama 2024, is a nursing student and cheerleader at Auburn University. Her aspirations include earning a doctorate in nurse anesthesia and becoming a pediatric nurse anesthetist.

On the same night as Stockard's crowning, Kessler also achieved a personal milestone by tying his season high with 17 rebounds in a victory against the Orlando Magic. His performance solidifies his position as a key player, currently ranking second in the NBA for blocks, averaging 2.5 per game.
