Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks has successfully undergone surgery to repair a fractured right fibula and dislocated ankle, an injury he sustained during a game against the Dallas Mavericks on October 28th.
The injury occurred in the third quarter when Hendricks lost his footing and landed awkwardly, resulting in a season-ending situation. Utah coach Will Hardy expressed the emotional impact of witnessing the injury on the team.
Hendricks, who was drafted ninth overall in the 2023 NBA draft, had been averaging 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds this season before the injury.
