Gustav Lindstrom has rejoined the Montreal Canadiens, signing a one-year, two-way contract. Shortly after, he was placed on waivers to be loaned to the AHL's Laval Rocket.
Originally acquired from the Detroit Red Wings, Lindstrom had a modest performance with the Canadiens last season and spent time with the Anaheim Ducks before becoming a free agent. He has played a total of 174 NHL games, accumulating 35 points.
