The Seattle Kraken have appointed Jordan Eberle as their captain, marking a significant moment as every NHL team now has a captain for the first time since the 2010-11 season.

In addition to Eberle, other teams have also announced their captains, including Clayton Keller for the Utah Hockey Club, Rasmus Dahlin for the Buffalo Sabres, Radko Gudas for the Anaheim Ducks, Nick Foligno for the Chicago Blackhawks, and Victor Hedman for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

This change comes as many teams previously opted for a leadership group without a designated captain.
